Another week, another “buy a plane ticket for a next-day flight across the country”-level event. Specifics aren’t really mine to share, but this is gettin’ pretty old, y’all.

- The person who will be taking over my engineering manager role at work started on Monday, and hadn’t quit by the time Friday rolled around! Eventually, I’m going back to the IC (individual contributor) role I was originally hired for, over some period of time that’s still yet to be determined. Lots of time meeting with her this week
- Had a “working social” Hack Salem meeting on Wednesday, which ended up with zero work getting accomplished — but a lot of socialization. So it goes
- Thursday night run up to PDX and back so TheWife could catch a 7am Friday morning flight to Chicago
- The resulting Solo Dad weekend was mostly uneventful
