Weeknote #97 (20260802-20260808)

Flew down to Austin Sunday afternoon, and was there all week for work. Work was work, 'nuff said — some wins, some …let’s say “not-wins”. So it goes.

Austin was hotter and more humid than I like. I stayed downtown this time instead of out in the Northern boonies where the office is, and that was a distinct improvement on available evening options. Had some decent food, found the place that would be my local if I ever ended up living in Austin, saw quite a few good live bands.
